January 2010: Blackrock Hall Primary Care Centre goes live with Socrates Primary Care Teams Edition!

The 45,000 sq ft facility has 90 practice rooms and is the result of the amalgamation of three local GP practices; Dr Cahill and O'Donnell, Dr Harty, and Silverdale medical centre, in combination with a broad range of multidisciplinary services such as physiotherapy, podiatry, and dermatology.

The complex requirements of the multi-practice/multi-disciplinary centre, were met out of the box by Socrates - Primary Care Teams Edition. This product was engineered from the ground up over an 18month period to allow data access to be custom defined at user/group or individual chart level. State of the art technologies such as virtual servers and thin clients encompass the technology marvel that is this facility, and with Socrates powering their ICT environment it will be met for years to come also!
