May 2010: Socrates Healthcare LTD are delighted to announce the release of the latest Socrates GP Edition Version 1.6.0.0

Some of the fantastic new features on offer includes electronic breast cancer referrals allowing users to submit referrals directly to the hospital from within Socrates itself, enhanced SMS functionality allowing the creation of personalized messages, weekly diary view in appointments, and the ability to create user-defined ICPC codes, among many others. A completely re-designed task workflow management system as well as an intelligent recurring appointments facility that factors in all the real world scenarios at the booking stage of the pattern.

This is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of the new functionality available in our latest release, version 1.6.0.0 will further our already existing product lead in the Irish GP Software market even further.

As usual there is no additional charge for existing customers and the update is completely automatic using our automatic updates system.
